The 90's And The Burn

In the mid 90's, although still performing live, their songwriting was coming more to the fore front. This culminated in the setting up of their own studio and a serious effort to promote their music. It soon starting paying off and after hearing one of their early demo's a Record Company contacted BBC Radio Wales to find out more about them. It resulted in Heather & Paul being invited to perform their songs live on the radio.

More writing and promoting ensued followed by a publishing and recording agreement. By now their music was covering all genres, New Country, Reggae, Pop/Dance, and it was during this time that the band "Heather Turner and the Burn" were formed to showcase their music.

This Was the first unveiling of Heather's band the Burn who have been together all of three weeks. This would normally show in the tightness of the band but they were having none of it. They gelled together as if held by super glue. The sound and presentation, professional and Heathers voice was exquisite.

The New Millennium

It was when Heather and the band were performing on BBC Radio Wales that they met Shakin' Stevens' first manager Paul Barrett who was instrumental in Heather & Paul getting together with their manager, Roy Massey. If you are a Music Publisher or you manage an artist looking for great songs, and you want to hear more of Heather and Pauls music, they would love to hear from you.
